For the last ten years, I’ve used Riaflex for my own dogs because I’ve seen how much of a difference the right joint support can make. When a dog starts to slow down, looks stiff after exercise, or just needs a bit of extra help to stay comfortable and active, having a supplement you trust matters.
That’s why Riaflex has remained one of the products I rely on most for my own dogs, and as the only Guernsey-based stockist, I’m proud to make it available locally to other dog owners.

Who Is Riaflex Suitable For?
Not every dog is the same, and dogs at different life stages have different requirements.
Riaflex is aimed at:
- Dogs starting to slow down with age
- Dogs with orthopaedic conditions like hip dysplasia or elbow dysplasia
- Active or sporting dogs who need extra joint support
- Older dogs who may have arthritic changes and who benefit from long-term mobility support
Many dog owners may wait until their dog is struggling before looking into joint support, however prevention is often much more helpful. Supporting your dog’s joints before problems become noticeable can make a real difference to their comfort and quality of life.
One of the reasons I recommend and stock Riaflex is because I have personally seen the benefits over a long period of time. Used consistently from a young age, it has helped support; two of our dogs into old age, one dog with hip dysplasia and four competing agility dogs.
Joint Supplements & Massage
A joint supplement can also work really well alongside massage as part of a more complete approach to your dog’s comfort. Riaflex helps to support joint health from the inside, where massage can help the muscles that also support the joint and any areas of compensation from any painful joints.
The two areas complement each other well, especially for dogs who suffer from an orthopaedic condition, are starting to show signs of ageing, experience any stiffness or dogs who live life to the full. For many owners, it is the combination of ongoing nutritional support and regular massage treatments that makes the biggest difference to how their dog moves and feels.
