At Code K9 Services (including Code K9 Massage and Dive In Dog Sports), I am dedicated to providing the highest standard of care and training for your dog. Because session times are limited and reserved exclusively for your dog, late cancellations and missed bookings significantly impact scheduling.
Accordingly, I kindly request that you review the policy below regarding booking amendments and cancellations for both clinical canine massage treatments and agility and hoopers lessons.
1. Clinical Canine Massage Appointments
- Notice Required: If you need to cancel or reschedule the treatment, please provide at least 24 hours’ notice. This allows the slot to be offered to another dog in need of treatment.
- Late Cancellations: Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice will incur a charge of 50% of the treatment fee.
- No Shows: If you miss an appointment without prior notification, the full treatment fee will remain payable.
2. Dive In Dog Sports Lessons
- Notice Required: If you need to cancel or reschedule the lesson, please provide at least 24 hours’ notice. This allows the slot to be offered to another dog.
- Late Cancellations: Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice, the full lesson fee will remain payable.
- No Shows: If you miss a lesson without prior notification, the full lesson fee will remain payable.
- Pre-Paid Spaces: In the event of pre-paid lessons / group spaces, you are welcome to sell your space to another participant, or offer it to those on a waiting list, however no refunds will be provided. Please contact Megan to inform her if a space has been sold / transferred.
- Weather and Safety: In the event that a Dive In Dog Sports training session must be cancelled because of the weather or unsafe training conditions, you will be personally notified as early as possible. In the event of pre-paid spaces, a refund will be provided less any non-refundable costs.
3. Veterinary Consent and Illness
I work to ensure that your dog’s health and safety are my top priorities.
- Sudden Illness: If your dog shows signs of infectious illness (e.g. vomiting, diarrhoea, coughing) or suffers an acute injury right before a massage or lesson, please contact me immediately. There are further contraindications to massage so please contact me if you have any concerns.
- Fee Waivers: Late cancellations due to emergencies will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis.
4. Late Arrivals
Where possible, if you are running late, please notify me via text as soon as possible. While I will also endeavour to accommodate you, your session may be shortened to avoid impacting subsequent dogs. The full fee for the scheduled duration will still apply.
5. How to Amend Bookings
- Canine Massage: To cancel or reschedule, please contact Megan directly via message, phone or email.
- Dog Agility / Hoopers Lessons: Prior to 24hrs, you can cancel and transfer your booking through the BookWhen website.
